Dear President Tinubu,

I hope this letter finds you well and in the right state of mind. First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your numerous achievements since assuming office as commander in Chief and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on May 29th. These include but not limited to  courageous policies such as subsidy removal, planned minimum wage increase, and the planned stoppage of paying taxes in dollars by Nigerian companies, among others.

It is also heartwarming to hear a  PDP Governor, Bala Muhammad, praising you and promising to work with you. I hope he will continue to work with you till 2027 and beyond .

However, Mr. President, it is important to note that the progressive family is not happy. We feel abandoned and to make matters worse, the opposition is mocking us daily.

It is hard to imagine a Tinubu Cabinet without prominent progressives like Femi Fani Kayode, Chief Felix, Hon. Aminu Sulaiman TSO, and others who have sacrificed their time, energy, and resources to make this government a reality.

I cannot fathom a situation where even one obedient appointee will make it in your cabinet, though, let alone many more, are appointed to sensitive positions in the APC cabinet while prominent progressives are left behind. Mr. President, if you think this will convert your known enemies, I believe it is time to reconsider.

The case of Femi Fani Kayode is particularly distressing. He has risked his life and used every resource at his disposal to fight for and protect your name. He has become a target of the then Villa cabals, the DSS, and even the Nigerian Army, Police and many more, many of whom still harbour an apparent hatred towards him. Mr. President, I urge you to reconsider this situation.

Mr. President kindly remember your foot soldiers, who stood by you when all odds were against you, the then Villa Cabals, the Obidients, the Atikulates and even some political Prophets who made life a living hell for anyone that says anything good about you, let alone campaign for you, yet those loyal lieutenants stood by you, sacrificed their time, energy and resources, yet today prominent Obidients are occupying sensitive positions while major stakeholders of the progressive family are left to their fate. A bitter reminder of the Buhari Presidency that relegated key stakeholders at the alter of political patronage and godfatherism, I believe you can do better Sir.

A subtle reminder Mr. President, where are your other loyal lieutenants? Where is Aminu Sulaiman TSO? Chief Felix GOGAN? Where is Sunday Wale Adeniran, your social media powerhouse? Kennedy Nosa Italy? And many others too numerous to mention.

A stitch in time saves many, but honestly speaking, Mr. President, your foot soldiers are not smiling. It is crucial that you renew our hope and address these concerns, as until then, everyone is sitting on a keg of gunpowder. I wish you the best of luck, success and prosperity also do kindly accept the assurance of my loyalty and highest regards.

Yours sincerely,
