In a bid to ensure a renewed hope administration that benefits from a wealth of experience, the Arewa Youths Progressive Alliance has called on President Tinubu to appoint Dr. Ibrahim Gwaggo, the traditional title holder of Majidadin Shinkafi, into his cabinet. The alliance believes that Gwaggo's extensive background and expertise will greatly contribute to the success of the administration.
Dr. Ibrahim Gwaggo's remarkable journey began as a classroom tutor at the Town Primary School in Shinkafi during the academic year of 1982/83. His dedication and commitment to education were evident even at this early stage of his career.
Moving forward, Gwaggo served as a Billing Clerk and Weighting Assistant at the NTC Leaf Buying Centre in Shinkafi from 1983 to 1984. His meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills were highly regarded, ensuring smooth operations at the center.
In 1986/87, Gwaggo took on the role of Assistant System/Data Analyst at the Consultancy Service Unit of Bayero University in Kano. His exceptional abilities were showcased as he handled feasibility studies for NEPA, leading to the computerization of NEPA billings and other activities. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in the computerization of students' admission and record-keeping at Bayero University, Kano.
During his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year in 1987/88, Gwaggo served at ASUTECH in Enugu. There, he excelled as a tutor in Financial Accounting and also took on the responsibilities of Examination and Admission Officer in the Accountancy Department. His expertise and guidance were invaluable to both students and staff.
The Arewa Youths Progressive Alliance firmly believes that Dr. Ibrahim Gwaggo's diverse experience and proven track record make him an ideal candidate for a position in President Tinubu's cabinet.
