As supporters and admirers of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, continued to hangout to celebrate his emergence at the 2023 presidential election, many of the attendees on Tuesday received scholarships.
On behalf of the convener and the co-convener of the hangout, Tosin Adeyanju, AA Mai Agogo, the immediate past Secretary, Directorate of Youth, South West, Idris Aragbe at the Day 58 of the hangout donated hugely to support the academic career of some of the attendees.
While presenting the scholarship, Idris said, “I am glad to be part of this family and I am encouraged by the activities of these young people coming here to entertain us with their God giving talents.
“Giving them scholarship will further encourage them to understand that Asiwaju love and appreciate what they are doing here.”
Speaking at the event, Tosin noted that the gesture was aimed at further rebuilding and repositioning the career of the beneficiaries.
He disclosed that the gesture will continue as a way of giving back owing to the contributions of the beneficiaries at the ongoing hangout.
He further disclosed that, the gesture will improve human capital development, saying “we are doing this because it is an investment in human capital development of our people. Education is never a waste.
